Episode 12 | Concetta Harris

Concetta V. Harris, a native of Memphis, TN is a 61-year-old mother of three girls and a grandmother of three. She has been employed as a firefighter for the city of Memphis for 27 years. In Fire Recruit Class #75, Concetta was the only female in the class of 54 men. She was the fourteenth female and the seventh African American female to be hired as a firefighter/EMT for the Memphis Fire Department.
